Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enforcing safety policies that safeguard workplace environments against occupational hazards, ensuring adherence to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures to reduce workplace risks and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Conduct systematic risk evaluations and safety audits to detect potential hazards and suggest remedial actions.
• Deliver safety education and awareness sessions to staff, emphasizing safe operational practices and emergency response protocols.
• Perform thorough investigations of workplace accidents and incidents to identify root causes and develop preventive strategies.
• Maintain detailed documentation related to safety procedures, incident reports, and compliance measures.
• Act promptly in emergency scenarios by providing first aid and coordinating with appropriate emergency responders.
• Collaborate with internal management and external safety professionals to uphold and improve safety standards.
