Position Summary
The Enterprise Software Sales Manager will be tasked with driving new client acquisition and managing comprehensive enterprise sales processes across the region. This role demands an individual with a strong hunter mentality and established experience in enterprise software sales, especially in areas such as virtualization, IT infrastructure, or IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Attain and surpass quarterly and yearly sales targets through strategic sales execution and managing a robust sales pipeline.
- Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closure in enterprise markets.
- Pinpoint, approach, and qualify lucrative enterprise opportunities utilizing cold calling, networking, referrals, and prompt lead follow-up.
- Establish and nurture relationships with crucial decision-makers and stakeholders within target companies.
- Effectively communicate the organization's value proposition and identify avenues for business expansion.
- Address client objections skillfully to guide sales opportunities toward successful completion.
- Develop and sustain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects to consistently achieve KPIs and revenue objectives.
- Partner with consultants, distributors, resellers, and other collaborators to generate and finalize new business deals.
- Maintain precise and current records of sales activities, forecasts, and accounts using Salesforce.com CRM.
- Conduct detailed research on accounts and maintain targeted lists to support business development strategies.
- Keep abreast of trends in enterprise ITSM and infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, VDI, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and related competitor solutions.
- Acquire in-depth product knowledge and convey how the company’s solutions effectively meet customer needs.
- Engage clients consistently through timely follow-ups, relationship management, and consultative sales techniques.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise software sales, preferably within virtualization, infrastructure software, or ITSM domains.
- Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Experience handling complex B2B enterprise sales cycles.
- Prior experience selling to Government Organizations is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal interactions.
- Competence in prospecting, qualification, and consultative selling.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com CRM and conducting professional meetings both online and in person.
- Proficiency in research tools, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
