Engineer - P&M - Site

Role Overview

The Engineer - P&M - Site is responsible for overseeing and executing site enabling works at construction locations by managing equipment and labor resources. The position requires facilitating timely establishment and upkeep of essential site infrastructure including roads, drains, water lines, lighting, and fencing, ensuring all activities comply with safety and quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the implementation of enabling works such as temporary roadways, access paths, drainage systems, water supply networks, fencing, and site cleaning using appropriate machinery.
• Coordinate deployment of machinery like JCBs, rollers, compactors, and water tankers in collaboration with the P&M team to support enabling activities.
• Oversee site leveling, soil compaction, and backfilling operations, ensuring conformity with site plans and technical specifications.
• Liaise with site service providers to manage installation and maintenance of temporary power lines, lighting, and diesel generators.
• Maintain and ensure the upkeep of site infrastructure to facilitate continuous construction operations.
• Keep detailed work records, equipment usage logs, and other documentation related to site enabling services.
