Engineer Maintenance Instrumentation

About the Role

This position involves executing and planning workshop services related to instrumentation system maintenance at the site to ensure uninterrupted and smooth operations, complying with statutory regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily tasks following all pertinent policies, processes, SOPs, and maintenance guidelines to ensure consistent and controlled work practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry best practices and contribute towards continuous process and system improvements.
• Develop and standardize testing procedures and formats to enhance instrumentation systems aligned with group standards.
• Assist in preparing maintenance cost estimates and budgets for workshop instrumentation, aiding in resource optimization and planning.
• Coordinate with planning and plant maintenance teams to schedule instrumentation maintenance activities daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Ensure workshop instrumentation maintenance KPIs are regularly met.
• Perform critical maintenance on instrumentation equipment upholding top quality standards.
• Coordinate external repairs and oversee maintenance of instrumentation devices in site common areas.
• Conduct planned shutdown and turnaround maintenance to verify timely testing and calibration of instrumentation systems.
• Support inventory management of spare parts, including identification, tracking, inspection of materials, and maintaining availability and standardization of critical spares.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform repair and refurbishment of instrumentation components.
• Prepare compliance documentation and support adherence to statutory and HSE requirements, including RESOP and mandatory trainings such as CASHe and HSEF.
• Maintain repair and test documentation, generate MIS reports, and update maintenance records promptly.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Instrumentation or Electronics is required; a Master's degree in these fields is preferred.
• Experience of 1 to 3 years in industrial or instrumentation workshop maintenance is mandatory.
