Role Responsibilities and Requirements

This position demands comprehensive technical expertise in Microsoft and Cisco email and collaboration systems. Key areas include Microsoft 365 ecosystem administration, Exchange Online, Exchange Server 2019, and hybrid Exchange deployments. Proficiency with Cisco Email Security Appliances, migrations between ESA and CES, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, SSO, MFA, conditional access policies, and Microsoft Teams integration is required. Candidates should possess skills in security components such as Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Purview, DLP, and eDiscovery processes. Knowledge of email protocols and standards like SMTP, DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, and MX records is essential. Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Exchange Online PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph API is also necessary. Additional requirements include familiarity with Intune, CyberArk, incident, problem, and change management methodologies including ITIL practices, root cause analysis, tenant migrations, and service management tools like ServiceNow.
