Role overview
Springers Solar, described as Queensland’s largest battery installation business, is looking to add qualified electricians to its crew in Lawnton, Queensland.
What the job offers
- Pay starts at $55 per hour for electricians without tickets, and rises to $60 per hour for those with all required tickets plus SAA accreditation.
- There is scope for substantial overtime if you want additional hours.
- The role includes 13 rostered days off and 17% leave loading.
- Parking is provided at the Lawnton head office, and you will travel in the company truck, so there are no travel costs.
- Training and ongoing support are available to help you obtain all required tickets and SAA accreditation.
Main duties
This is a permanent full-time position focused on solar and battery work. You will be expected to install, connect, and commission solar and battery systems, carry out servicing and repairs when required, and maintain safe working practices while delivering a strong standard of customer care.
Team environment
You will work as part of a sizeable crew that includes labourers, roofers, and apprentices assigned to each job, which means only a limited amount of roof work is involved.
Experience and training
Previous solar experience is not required. The employer is willing to train the right person.
