Electrical & Maintenance Engineer - Plant Maintenance

About the Role and Location

This position is based in Surajpur, Greater Noida, and requires candidates with strong practical knowledge in industrial electrical maintenance to oversee plant electrical systems and equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should hold either a B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering with 2 to 6 years of experience or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5 to 6 years of relevant hands-on exposure. Practical familiarity with motors, drives, switchgear, transformers, PLC systems, LT panels, MCCs, VFDs, power distribution, and troubleshooting is essential. Experience involving both field and office responsibilities is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on plant electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), control panels, and utility systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Maximize equipment uptime and enhance system reliability.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Adhere to established safety protocols and uphold maintenance best practices.
• Collaborate with production and utility teams to support efficient plant operations.

Desired Skills and Competencies

• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control systems.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Understanding of power distribution systems and switchgear maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
