Role Overview

As part of a skilled team, you will contribute directly to the maintenance and advancement of Transpower's national grid — a critical infrastructure network for New Zealand. Your hands-on duties include installation, maintenance, and commissioning of high-voltage equipment, along with LV electrical tasks in substations. You will also support grid enhancement and asset replacement initiatives nationwide, ensuring safety and operational reliability at key electricity network sites.

Candidate Profile

• Must hold EWRB registration with an active practising license.
• Possession of a clean New Zealand Class 1 driver’s license; Class 2 is advantageous.
• Proven electrical experience, preferably within the high-voltage sector.
• Excellent communication, practical problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
