Position Summary

We are looking to hire a skilled Early Collector for our Retail Recoveries Department. Reporting to the Head of Retail Recoveries, the incumbent will focus on contacting clients delayed in payments from 10 days onward to maximize collections on non-performing loans.

Key Duties

• Making over 200 outbound calls daily to customers in delay buckets 1-3 (10-60 days overdue).
• Logging all customer interactions within the Collection System “FaciliLegal.”
• Communicating with branch offices via email to monitor late-paying clients.
• Alerting branches about overdue credit cards, particularly when clients have a positive account balance.
• Notifying branches or third parties with credit card overdue details when necessary.
• Coordinating with branches to update client contact information through email.
• Informing branches about payments made to loans in different accounts.
• Conducting calls based on specific branch requests.
• Carrying out other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Equation and Collection Systems.
• Understanding of fundamental banking concepts including loans, credit cards, overdrafts, and customer service.
• Effective professional communication abilities.
• Strong persuasion skills.
• Ability to compose professional written correspondence to branches.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
