Responsibilities

• Use dry-cleaning, washing, drying, and pressing equipment as part of the daily workflow.
• Care for and press guest attire, staff uniforms, and hotel linen to the required standard.
• Check each item for stains, damage, and any special care instructions before processing.
• Treat stains with suitable cleaning agents and methods.
• Separate items by fabric type, color, and the cleaning process they require.
• Fold, package, and return cleaned items to guests or the relevant departments.
• Look after laundry machines and escalate any technical issues or breakdowns.
• Store and use laundry chemicals correctly and safely.
• Work in line with hotel rules for hygiene, safety, and quality.
• Keep the laundry room neat, clean, and well organized.
• Respond to guest laundry requests courteously and without delay.
• Maintain accurate logs for guest laundry and dry-cleaning orders.

Requirements

• Prior work experience in a hotel laundry or dry-cleaning setting is an advantage.
• Understanding of fabric care and stain treatment methods.
• Ability to handle laundry and pressing equipment confidently.
• Strong focus on accuracy, cleanliness, and timely completion of tasks.
• Basic verbal communication ability.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physical stamina to remain standing for long periods and lift laundry loads.
