Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales & Operations Planning responsible for overseeing integrated planning across Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance. This leadership role centers on demand planning and the execution of sales and operations strategies, suited for high-mix, low-volume technology/manufacturing settings within a globally connected organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the global S&OP process by harmonizing demand forecasts, supply strategies, inventory management, and financial goals.
• Facilitate monthly planning cycles, including demand reviews, supply planning, and executive decision-making forums.
• Align sales, operations, and finance teams on demand and supply to identify risks and opportunities and suggest mitigation plans.
• Conduct scenario planning to balance customer delivery performance, working capital efficiency, and operational throughput.
• Support annual operating plan (AOP) development.
• Establish and manage short-term execution rhythms to adjust for immediate demand and supply fluctuations, monitoring order fulfillment and inventory.
• Lead agile responses to changes in demand, supply constraints, or capacity issues.
• Oversee demand planning incorporating historical data, market intelligence, and sales pipeline insights to improve forecast precision.
• Implement statistical forecasting models and scenario analysis to drive proactive decisions.
• Direct a Center of Excellence focusing on demand planning, championing analytics and tool adoption to enhance supply chain visibility and decision-making.
• Develop performance dashboards and KPIs to track forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory status.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing team fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional teamwork.

Work Environment

• Location: Singapore office
• Standard office setting with global and domestic travel requirements up to 10%

Qualifications

• Proven achievement in technology or manufacturing sectors characterized by lengthy sales cycles and international operations.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, demand planning techniques, and statistical forecasting.
• Strong familiarity with ERP/MRP and advanced planning systems such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or Anaplan.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in cultivating and steering effective teams, with a commitment to excellence and collaboration.
• Capacity to work autonomously while promoting a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with a history of influencing at all organizational levels including senior executives.
• Strong analytical mindset enabling data-driven decisions and discussions.

Experience

• Minimum ten years in supply chain, planning, or operations roles with at least five years leading S&OP in complex B2B contexts.
• Experience managing global teams and global operations.
• Background establishing or improving S&OE processes internationally.
• Hands-on experience implementing planning solutions such as IBP, Anaplan, or Kinaxis is advantageous.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline required.
• Advanced degrees such as MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Project management certification like PMP is a plus.
