Role overview
Our client is a major European distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products, serving 22 countries and more than 220,000 customers. With a strong mix of international reach and local market knowledge, the Irish business generates over €60M in revenue and supports well-known companies across pharmaceutical, food and beverage, manufacturing, utilities, engineering, and other critical industrial environments.
They are hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist to take ownership of the company’s online presence, with particular emphasis on website administration, content development, CRM discipline, and lead generation. Reporting to the Managing Director, this person will be responsible for keeping the site commercially effective, ensuring product and category information is accurate, and driving digital activity that supports measurable sales growth and stronger customer engagement.
Website management
- Oversee the Irish website on a day-to-day basis, keeping product pages, landing pages, and category structures accurate, current, and easy to use.
- Improve organic visibility through on-page SEO, including copy, metadata, and technical site elements, so industrial buyers can find the product range more easily.
- Refine the online journey by improving inquiry forms, download paths, and customer registration flows to increase web-generated leads.
Digital campaigns and content
- Create localized content in partnership with internal sales and technical product teams, including case studies, technical articles, and email newsletters.
- Plan and manage Google Ads and other paid search activity to attract relevant traffic to priority product lines while monitoring budget use and return on investment.
- Handle local social media activity, mainly LinkedIn, and run email campaigns that help nurture the existing customer database.
- Support customer data management in the CRM by segmenting audiences, keeping contact information accurate, improving targeting, and aligning marketing actions with sales priorities and customer value.
- Work with sales, category, and supplier teams to design structured campaigns around key product categories, strategic accounts, and growth opportunities, with clear objectives, ownership, and measurable results.
Analytics and reporting
- Review website and campaign performance using Google Analytics and internal CRM data, then share practical insights with the General Manager on what is delivering results and what needs improvement.
- Build straightforward CRM dashboards and reports to track lead quality, customer engagement, campaign follow-up, and conversion performance so sales leadership can act on the findings.
Key requirements
- Bring 2 to 3 years of practical experience in digital marketing or website coordination; experience in B2B or industrial sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Have confidence using standard CMS platforms, working with page layouts, and carrying out structured quality checks before publishing updates.
- Possess working knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO tools, and email marketing systems.
- CRM administration or usage experience is preferred, including managing contacts, campaign lists, lead tracking, data quality, and reporting.
- Be a strong writer who can translate technical information into clear, engaging B2B marketing copy.
- Understand commercial B2B needs and be able to turn product and service value into practical marketing messages that support sales, retention, and account growth.
- Be highly organized, detail-focused, and able to work independently across multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Be comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders, sales teams, category specialists, suppliers, and external agencies to deliver coordinated marketing activity across several priorities.
