- Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new client accounts.
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports, transforming data into strategic commercial insights.
- Support the formulation of the 2027 annual plans by contributing to strategic account goals and targets.
- Identify potential risks proactively and manage client expectations effectively to mitigate issues.
- Drive account growth by translating client needs into actionable priorities and coordinating execution through team members.
- Address client-level decisions involving escalations, sensitive discussions, and contractual matters.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing digital marketing or media accounts with demonstrable impact on client or brand performance.
- Proficient team leader capable of guiding specialists, prioritizing work, and ensuring accountability without performing the technical tasks personally.
- Commercially savvy, able to interpret profit and loss statements and link performance metrics to business outcomes.
- Graceful under pressure and able to communicate challenging news diplomatically.
- Flexible, hands-on attitude suited to a fast-evolving agency environment requiring initiative beyond a prescribed role.
- Based in Auckland, willing to work fully on-site for the first month to familiarize with clients and processes, followed by hybrid work with 1-2 remote days weekly.
- Experience working with FMCG brands, including those in alcohol sectors.
- Exposure to Amazon or marketplace platforms is advantageous but not mandatory.
Work Conditions
- Attend the Tuesday 7:30 AM team meeting remotely; however, Tuesday afternoons are onsite in Penrose, Auckland.
- Initial full-time office attendance for four weeks, transitioning into hybrid work allowing several remote days weekly.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage ranges from $45 to $60 depending on experience level.
- Weekly workload of 15-20 hours with flexible scheduling aside from the fixed Tuesday block.
- Opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Amazon and global marketplace strategies from an expert team.
- Direct responsibility for client accounts from the outset, enhancing professional growth and exposure.
- Prospects for managing additional brands and expanding responsibilities as the agency continues rapid growth.
