Role Overview
Join our team as a Despatch Operator where you will play a crucial role in preparing food products for dispatch at a busy production facility. This position involves operating on the despatch line to ensure orders are accurately packed, carefully inspected, and dispatched on schedule. The work is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Securely and precisely pack products on the despatch line.
- Verify product labels, expiration dates, and overall quality.
- Ensure all orders are complete and ready for timely delivery.
- Safely handle and transport trays, boxes, and stock within the workspace.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
- Report any product defects or equipment malfunctions promptly to the team leader.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the despatch area.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet daily production targets.

- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform efficiently in a rapid work environment.
- Capability to understand and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Good numerical skills.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
