About the Role
Join Primark as a Department Manager where you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Lead. You will help maintain a safe workplace and provide a seamless shopping experience by managing essential operational and EHS tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively reduce hazards and drive operational excellence in collaboration with store management.
- Support customer service through managing POS ticket printing and price updates.
- Oversee EHS activities aligned with local regulations, including training new hires and refresher sessions.
- Coordinate maintenance repair requests, liaising with contractors and preparing necessary paperwork.
- Troubleshoot and report technology repairs to ensure timely resolutions.
- Maintain stock file accuracy, update systems, and manage lost property procedures.
- Responsible for ordering personal protective equipment, store stationery, shop floor hardware, and ensuring first aid kits are stocked.
- Conduct regular self-audits and keep Store Manager and EHS leads informed on daily and weekly updates.

Compensation and Commitment
The role offers a base pay of $16.50 per hour. Salaries may vary depending on location, experience, and skills.
