Job description

About Kreol Group

Kreol Group is a prominent consumer goods company focused on channel-specific distribution, brand management, and retail activities across regions including GCC, Middle East, Africa, and the Indian subcontinent. Their operations span travel retail, modern trade, and e-commerce sectors, supported by logistics, warehousing, merchandising, marketing, and retail management expertise.

About Kreol Travel Retail Division

This division is a multi-category distributor serving airports, duty-free operators, and travel retail channels in the Middle East, Africa, and Indian subcontinent. The product range includes confectionery, food, fragrances, personal care, and travel accessories, representing both international and regional brands across varied markets and retail partners.

Role Overview

The Demand & Supply Planner will ensure optimal product availability in appropriate markets timely without causing excess stock or shortages. They will oversee SKU-level demand forecasting, purchase and replenishment planning, and inventory monitoring across brands, suppliers, customers, and countries. Balancing product availability and inventory costs is key to prevent business loss and operational inefficiencies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create rolling demand forecasts at SKU level based on historical data, customer inputs, promotions, seasonality, and market insights.
  • Translate forecasts into detailed purchasing, supply, and replenishment plans.
  • Keep track of stock coverage, availability, incoming shipments, and customer needs.
  • Detect potential inventory issues such as out-of-stock, excess or ageing stock, and short expiration before they escalate.
  • Advise on purchase quantities and timing factoring in lead times, MOQ, stock levels, and expected demand.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales for forecasts, promotional activities, new product launches, and demand changes.
  • Monitor purchase orders, production status, and shipment schedules, compiling weekly progress reports.
  • Maintain planning documentation and aim to enhance forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.
  • Support monthly sales and operations planning by providing clear data, highlighting risks and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Drive improvements in ERP data, planning tools, and inventory processes, ensuring accurate product and supplier master data.
  • Engage with suppliers regularly via calls or meetings to review order status.
  • Perform any additional planning and forecasting-related tasks as required.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in demand, supply, inventory planning, or replenishment roles.
  • Experience in FMCG, CPG, retail distribution, travel retail, or other SKU-intensive industries preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle large datasets confidently.
  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel; exposure to ERP systems like Odoo is a plus.
  • Capability to interpret sales and market information into actionable purchasing and inventory strategies.
  • Open to working half-day shifts on Saturdays.
  • Willingness to commute daily to the Dubai Investments Park 2 location.
