Role Overview
Join our Mount Maunganui team as a Delivery Driver where you'll play an integral role in the entire delivery cycle. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders in the warehouse, safely loading the delivery truck, and ensuring goods reach customers efficiently and carefully. The role also involves dispatch coordination and handling delivery documentation. This position is physically demanding, offers variety, and involves active participation in multiple facets of our busy plumbing merchant environment.
Requirements
- Must possess a full New Zealand Class 1 driver licence; manual driving ability is essential.
- Holding a forklift licence is desirable.
- Prior experience in a similar delivery or warehouse role is preferred.
- Class 2 driving licence considered an asset.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly approach and willingness to go above and beyond.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Being a cooperative team member with a good sense of humour.
