Job description
About the Role
This position involves working as a Debt Recovery Telecaller in the banking and NBFC sector, servicing clients such as ICICI, HDFC, Kotak, Tata Capital, and others.
Job Responsibilities
- Reach out to debtors by phone to discuss overdue payments.
- Negotiate suitable repayment plans and terms to recover debts efficiently.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all communication and agreements made.
- Conduct timely follow-ups on payment commitments and update records of outstanding debts.
- Ensure all actions comply with relevant legal standards and corporate policies.
- Provide necessary information and support to customers for resolving their debts.
- Coordinate with other teams to resolve disputes or discrepancies related to debt accounts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
- Experience ranging from 6 months to 15 years in debt collection or customer service; both experienced professionals and freshers with strong communication skills are welcome.
- Strong negotiation abilities and interpersonal communication skills.
- Capability to manage difficult conversations professionally and empathetically.
- Familiarity with debt collection regulations is considered an advantage.

Additional Information
- Compensation range: ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 monthly, with attractive incentives.
- Working days: 6 days per week.
- Working hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
