About the Role
Allegiance Industries, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual for the position of Day Porter at an educational facility. This role operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and requires dedication to maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning various surfaces.
- Collect and dispose of trash appropriately.
- Maintain restrooms by supplying, cleaning, and servicing them efficiently.
- Prepare and mix cleaning agents following specific guidelines.
- Relocate heavy equipment, furniture, or objects as needed.
- Identify potential repairs and communicate these to the relevant personnel.
- Carry out floor maintenance including carpet steam cleaning, waxing, and buffing when applicable.
- Fulfill any additional duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Possess physical strength and dexterity required for manual tasks.
- Ability to recognize safety hazards and report them to appropriate staff members.
- Have reliable transportation for commuting.
- Follow work schedules and maintain punctuality.
- Adhere to supervisor directions professionally.
- Maintain professionalism in all workplace interactions.
