While investment data knowledge is beneficial, the primary emphasis is on technical problem solving, process enhancements, data management, and rapid learning of business systems.
Role Highlights
This position offers hands-on experience with business systems, workflow automation, reporting platforms, low-code tools, scripting, and AI-enabled process improvements within a trusted private environment. You will collaborate closely with the CTO, gaining exposure to platform operations, automation design, data workflows, systems thinking, and technology-led business improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete monthly client investment reporting process, including data preparation and workflow management.
- Manage recurring data workflows such as extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation across internal reporting and operational platforms.
- Ensure data integrity by investigating discrepancies, data breaks, incomplete entries, and reporting irregularities.
- Support, maintain, and enhance internal processes using Microsoft 365 suite, Power Automate, Power Apps, Salesforce, SharePoint, and related systems.
- Document workflows, business rules, system integrations, and standard operating procedures accurately.
- Assist internal users with system questions, regular tasks, and process refinements.
- Facilitate onboarding, data migration, cleanup, and technology transition projects.
- Utilize or assist with light scripting and code-based automations to boost operational efficiency.
- Under CTO guidance, explore and apply AI tools to improve document management, data review, exception handling, summarization, and overall team productivity.
Success Indicators within 12 Months
- Achieve comprehensive understanding of client investment data.
- Execute recurring workflows consistently with high quality and minimal oversight.
- Gain confidence in core business systems and sharpen judgment regarding data quality and exceptions.
- Contribute measurable improvements through workflow enhancements or automation involving reporting, filing, data validation, or exception processing.
- Develop practical skills in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Salesforce/reporting workflows, and fundamental scripting.
Candidate Profile
This position is suitable for detail-oriented, technology-focused individuals who combine commercial awareness with a strong desire to evolve into broader systems and automation roles. Suitable backgrounds include business systems support, operations analysis, data operations, reporting, technology operations, CRM administration, and low-code automation. Direct experience in investment management is advantageous but not mandatory.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in data operations, reporting support, business systems, operational analysis, reconciliations, or automation support.
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical data, repeatable processes, and system accuracy.

- Effective problem-solving aptitude and rapid adaptability to new systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential client information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Commerce, or related fields.
- Applicants without a degree may be considered if they demonstrate substantial relevant practical experience.
- Additional certifications in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Salesforce, data analytics, programming, or AI tools are advantageous.
