Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at arabam.com, you will analyze complex business problems and transform large datasets into actionable insights by applying advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques. You will collaborate with diverse teams to build predictive models, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and understand complex business and operational challenges.
• Leverage large datasets to develop statistical analyses and predictive models.
• Create data visualizations for evaluating performance and trends.
• Extract insights from internal databases to support product development and marketing optimization.
• Automate and optimize key processes using data-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain monitoring tools to track model accuracy and ensure data integrity.
• Conduct pre- and post-launch analysis of projects and features.
• Work in cross-functional squads with developers, product managers, and domain experts to integrate models into production.
• Contribute to arabam.com's AI transformation by utilizing AI tools and promoting effective and responsible AI adoption.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working with cross-functional teams; startup experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a related data science role.
• Proven expertise in building complex predictive analytics models and managing large datasets.
• Proficient in Python programming and familiar with popular data science libraries.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning architectures including CNN, RNN, and LSTM.
• Experience using frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
• Practical applied machine learning experience in business settings.
• Ability to communicate insights to a broad range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
• Experience with computer vision and AI-augmented development tools is considered a plus.
