About the Role
Net Connect Global, a renowned ISO certified organization with over 30 years of expertise, is seeking a Data Privacy Lead to support its project deployment for PwC in Gurugram. This position is pivotal in ensuring adherence to data protection laws across multiple regions including India, Europe, the UK, the US, and the Middle East, particularly in the aviation sector where sensitive data volumes are substantial.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with data privacy regulations across diverse jurisdictions.
- Implement and manage privacy governance frameworks and regulatory adherence.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and effectively manage related risks.
- Negotiate and maintain data processing agreements and manage data transfer mechanisms.
- Lead communication efforts and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Develop and conduct training programs related to data privacy.
Candidate Profile
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Law with specialization or strong interest in data privacy and protection.
- Possess 5 to 6 years or more of experience in data privacy implementation across various jurisdictions.
- Professional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT are strongly preferred.
- Have thorough knowledge of international data privacy legislation including GDPR and local laws.
- Demonstrate capability in handling privacy risk assessments and negotiations of privacy agreements.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder engagements.
