Data Management Executive - Pharma Catalog

Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Data Management Executive with 2 to 4 years of experience specializing in Pharmaceutical Catalog Management and Healthcare Data Operations. The candidate must possess comprehensive knowledge of generic and branded medicines, drug compositions, dosage formats, therapeutic classifications, and relevant pharmaceutical terminology.

Primary Duties

• Manage and update the pharmaceutical product catalog within internal databases.
• Conduct thorough research on newly introduced generic medicines using credible sources.
• Accurately perform mappings between generic and branded medicine names.
• Verify detailed medicine information such as generic and brand names, active ingredients, compositions, strengths, dosage forms, packaging sizes, manufacturers, and therapeutic categories.
• Maintain accurate records of substitute medicines based on composition and strengths.
• Review and revise product attributes adhering to business and quality guidelines.
• Ensure completeness and consistency of pharmaceutical master data.
• Identify and resolve catalog discrepancies through detailed data analysis.
• Comply with internal standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory references.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address catalog-related queries within stipulated timelines.
• Generate operational reports and contribute to continuous process enhancements.
• Maintain high standards of productivity, accuracy, and quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2 to 4 years of prior experience in Pharma Catalog Management, Healthcare Data Management, Master Data Management, or related Healthcare Operations.
• In-depth understanding of generic and branded medicines, molecule mapping, therapeutic categories, dosage forms, and pharmaceutical terminology.
• Capable of researching new generic medicines and identifying equivalents.
• Knowledge of substitute medicine mapping based on composition validation.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical databases and regulatory bodies such as CDSCO and NLEM is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel functions including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Filters, IF Functions, and Data Validation.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Educational Background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M.Pharm), Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or equivalent healthcare-related qualifications.

Additional Advantages

Experience with electronic pharmacy platforms, Pharmaceutical Catalog Operations, Healthcare Master Data Management, or Product Information Management enhances candidacy.
