Job Role and Responsibilities

As part of the Process, Change and Readiness (PCR) Team within Development, reporting to the Data & Products Manager, you will play a key role in driving Heathrow's continuous improvement efforts through data analytics. Your main responsibility lies in transforming data into actionable insights that inform better decision-making and enhance value for passengers, partners, and staff. Collaborating across teams and stakeholders, you will lead projects that improve process efficiency, quality, and services using agile methods.

• Deliver clear and insightful analysis and reports to support change initiatives.
• Design and build dashboards illustrating trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop relevant metrics, integrate complex datasets, and perform both qualitative and quantitative analyses, including ad hoc investigations and deep-dive reports.
• Aggregate data from diverse sources to generate comprehensive insights.
• Manage analytics projects end-to-end, ensuring on-time delivery, prioritization, quality assurance, documentation, and knowledge dissemination.
• Present findings in accessible formats upholding data quality and usability standards.
• Work collaboratively with experts and analytics communities to explore new tools, data sources, and best practices.
• Contribute actively to evolving the Process Improvement and Data Analytics strategy, with focus areas such as Tools & Standards and Process Intelligence.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in data visualization and preparation using tools like Excel, PowerBI, and Databricks for performance analysis and decision support.
• Experience with programming languages (R or Python) or advanced data handling techniques.
• Capability to work with both structured and unstructured data formats.
• Self-driven, proven ability to manage analytics projects from inception through delivery and benefit realization.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills and comfort handling ambiguity.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to convey complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Desire or experience in data modeling, process mining, and simulation tools such as SimPy, DAX, M Language, and Power Platform.

Preferable Qualifications

• Experience in process improvement methodologies, ideally with Lean Six Sigma accreditation.
• Familiarity or interest in enterprise-wide process mapping or mining.
• Understanding of complex airport operations and their interdependencies is advantageous.
