Job Overview
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated and analytical Quality Informatics Analyst to join the leadership team within the Children's Health Service Line. This full-time role focusing on day shifts is based at the RWJBarnabas Health Corporate Services facility in West Orange, NJ. The position supports quality, safety, and performance enhancement initiatives through advanced data management, analysis, and visualization techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, analyze, and interpret complex clinical and operational data to aid strategic and operational decisions in Children’s Health.
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools and advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create insightful dashboards, reports, and performance metrics driving quality and patient care improvements.
- Act as a key liaison among quality leadership, information systems, Decision Support teams, Epic reporting teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Extract and merge clinical and operational data from multiple sources to back quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with Epic and Decision Support teams to convert quality and patient safety reporting requirements into actionable reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Informatics, Health Data Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- At least two years of experience in Quality Analyst, Healthcare Analytics, or Informatics roles utilizing Business Intelligence and data visualization tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, and handling large datasets.
- Experience with Tableau or other Business Intelligence and visualization platforms is preferred.
Additional Information
- Position is salaried with an expected annual pay range between $68,724 and $97,073, depending on education, skills, and experience.
- Work schedule is full-time, day shift.
