Position Overview
The Data Analyst role is critical within the supply chain operations at SHEIN, ensuring seamless and effective goods movement from origin to destination. This role combines skills in data analytics, vendor relations, customs compliance, document control, and strategic planning. The analyst will handle data processing to optimize supply chain performance, minimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction by adhering to regulatory requirements and leveraging analytics-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze logistics-related data to discover trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement, with regular performance metric reporting.
- Develop and execute cost reduction strategies targeting mid-mile and last-mile delivery operations.
- Create and manage budget processes including annual budgets and monthly forecasts, ensuring expenses align with planned budgets.
- Support the development of regional business analysis systems, including KPI dashboards, reporting frameworks, and case analyses.
- Identify and assess logistics risks proactively, implementing mitigation plans to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Lead special-case project management including budgeting, investment approval, and cost reviews related to unique operational scenarios.
- Organize and maintain all import-related documents to guarantee compliance and easy retrieval.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, statistics, finance, data science, or a related discipline preferred.
- Open to recent graduates or candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Office Suite; familiarity with Python and SQL is highly advantageous.
- Quick adaptability to new software and analytical tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on process optimization using data insights.
- Robust business acumen including global market understanding and ability to identify operational challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, dynamic environments with competing priorities.
