About the Role
Educated Solutions Corp is supporting a leading U.S. commercial real estate services firm in hiring a Data Analyst for a 4-month remote contract. This project focuses on managing data related to laboratory equipment operations, offering a great opportunity for a meticulous data expert passionate about handling extensive datasets and deriving actionable business insights. The position requires close collaboration with the hiring manager and a data analyst team to aid operational efforts via analytics, reporting, and vendor liaison. The preferred working hours align with Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern or Central time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggregate, analyze, and oversee large datasets to facilitate operational decisions and business activities.
- Conduct data mining and investigative research pertinent to the maintenance and performance of laboratory equipment.
- Create detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to effectively communicate critical insights and findings.
- Craft compelling data-driven stories to advocate operational strategies and process enhancements.
- Support vendor-related processes and ensure operational data accuracy.
- Coordinate efforts in data gathering, cleansing, validation, and standardization to uphold data quality.
- Execute on-demand analyses utilizing both structured and unstructured data to uncover trends and possibilities.
- Contribute to refining reporting workflows and data process improvements.
- Work alongside internal teams to enhance existing systems and propose new solutions.
- Communicate analytical results and recommendations clearly to business stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications
- 4 to 7 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or equivalent roles.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and well-organized outputs.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Skilled in analyzing data and delivering business-centric presentations of insights.
- Effective communicator capable of narrating data findings compellingly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills enabling handling of multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; substantial relevant experience may substitute for degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical equipment oversight or laboratory operational environments.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships.
- Practical use of Smartsheet software.
- Involvement in process improvement projects.
- Background supporting operational or facilities management teams.
Working Hours and Location
This role operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with candidates in Eastern or Central time zones preferred.
