About the Company
ComputerCare is a woman-owned technology services company with more than two decades of experience delivering dependable IT support. The organization is known for pairing strong technical capabilities with a people-first approach, and it works with global clients that rely on technology staying operational. Its services include managing device lifecycles and carrying out authorized repairs for Apple, Lenovo, HP, and Dell hardware. The company emphasizes accountability, quality, and long-term relationships by keeping all work in-house rather than outsourcing it.
The team is growing its data function and is seeking a curious, analytical, and driven Data Analyst to support business operations, technology workflows, and data systems. This position offers practical exposure to reporting, dashboards, data quality, and analysis that improves inventory planning, operational effectiveness, and customer outcomes.
Role Overview
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data and wants to build technical depth while learning how analytics supports engineering-oriented and operational environments. The role sits at the intersection of business operations, data engineering, and business intelligence, with close collaboration across leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, improve, and scale the Snowflake data warehouse along with ETL and ELT workflows.
- Connect current and new data sources, including NetSuite, Jira, and custom portals, while ensuring reliable and clean data ingestion.
- Own the business intelligence layer, currently built in HEX, and help assess whether future migration to tools such as Tableau or Looker makes sense as the organization expands.
- Work closely with the COO to convert operational priorities into data models, dashboards, and insight-driven outputs.
- Protect data quality by setting governance practices, documenting models, and maintaining a trusted source of truth.
- Explore new tools, test experimental approaches, and continuously look for better ways to solve problems.
- Serve as the main data partner for leaders in operations, finance, and engineering by translating business challenges into automated reporting and usable dashboards.
- Operate comfortably across data engineering and analytics tasks, including pipeline development, modeling, visualization, and storytelling with data.
- Keep a high standard for accuracy, code quality, and pipeline reliability.
- Take ownership of new work, build solutions from the ground up, and adapt quickly when a better approach is discovered.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand pain points and create useful data solutions.
Candidate Profile
The company is looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented, intellectually curious, adaptable, and energized by building from scratch. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, enjoys experimenting with technology, and can explain data findings clearly to people across different functions.
Requirements
- 2 to 4+ years of experience spanning data engineering and analytics work; experience as a solo practitioner or early team member is especially valuable.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including architecture, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Advanced SQL capability.
- Experience with ETL or integration tools such as Celigo, Fivetran, dbt, or custom API scripting.
- Experience creating meaningful dashboards and visualizations.
- Familiarity with HEX is a strong advantage.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is required.
- Exposure to data coming from ERPs such as NetSuite, project tools such as Jira, and custom web applications.
Perks and Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k) plan with employer matching.
- Company-paid life insurance, plus HSA and FSA options.
- Employee Assistance Program for additional support.
- Adoption assistance.
- Commuter benefits.
- Free Coursera professional certifications.
- Generous vacation and sick leave, along with paid time off for community service.
Eligibility and Equal Opportunity
Applicants who do not meet every requirement are still encouraged to apply if they believe they can contribute to the mission and values of the company. Candidates must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States, including U.S. citizens and Green Card holders.
