Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Data Analyst passionate about data and problem-solving to join our Natick, MA office. This role provides a great opportunity to start a career in benefits technology by working closely with industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and scrutinize benefits eligibility and enrollment data files.
- Coordinate directly with Plan Sponsors and third-party vendors to verify data accuracy.
- Configure, test, and resolve issues with carrier data feeds.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to fulfill client needs.
- Offer technical support concerning benefits data file challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with carrier file formats such as ANSI 834, LIMRA LDEx, CSV, and API-based transmissions.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL processes for data extraction and transformation.
- Experience engaging with third-party vendors, insurance carriers, or financial institutions.
- Knowledge of compliance and security standards including HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC 2.
- Capability to document and communicate technical information effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail and precision.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently in a dynamic environment.
