Role Overview
We are seeking full-time Customer Service Representatives for our Modbury-based Federal Government support team. You will be the approachable, professional first contact for customers, helping them resolve issues, access vital services, and obtain optimal results.
Your interactions will vary; utilizing empathy, active listening, and problem-solving skills will enable you to provide high-quality assistance that genuinely matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and process related items.
- Establish quick rapport while delivering accurate and timely information.
- Identify and solve issues by adhering to clear procedures and guidelines.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators related to customer satisfaction and service standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with confidence.
- Meticulous attention to accuracy, especially when working under time constraints.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team and foster a positive work environment.
- Demonstrated empathy and patience, particularly when supporting individuals in difficult circumstances.
- Comfortable using multiple computer systems; typing speed of 20 words per minute or higher.
- Must be an Australian Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a Security Clearance.
- Previous experience in customer service or contact centres is beneficial but not required; transferable skills are welcomed and full training provided.
Working Hours
Full-time positions with rostered shifts Monday to Friday, operating between 7:00 am and 7:30 pm on a rotating schedule. Some flexibility is available to accommodate personal commitments outside work hours.
