Courier

Position Summary

This role involves the polite and efficient collection and delivery of packages along a designated route. The courier is responsible for verifying shipments comply with FedEx Canada service standards and providing high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages courteously and promptly on assigned routes
• Ensure all shipments meet Federal Express Canada service requirements
• Provide customer service support related to deliveries

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Physical ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs using equipment
• At least one year of customer-focused business experience preferred
• Successful completion of pre-placement driver assessment and training
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is beneficial
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective time management and organizational abilities
• Excellent customer service aptitude
• Capability to multitask and handle high-pressure environments
• Flexibility to adjust work schedules including holidays based on business needs
• If residing in Quebec, bilingual proficiency in French and English is required

Additional Information

Driving requirements include a license class 5, G, or 1(AZ) with no more than two violations or accidents in the last 24 months.
