About the Role
This opening is with a prominent national law firm based in Birmingham, recognized in the Legal 500 for its leading Corporate Team. The position focuses on advising clients across a diverse range of corporate transactions, particularly in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), spin-outs, and venture capital dealings. Alongside transactional work, ongoing corporate and company law advice will be a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on various corporate transactions emphasizing M&A, spin-outs, and venture capital transactions.
- Draft transaction documents and legally sound advice to support clients’ deals.
- Manage transactional processes and coordinate effectively with clients and third parties to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Participate actively in the team’s business development initiatives to grow client relationships.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess 0 to 2 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in corporate law.
- Strong experience in corporate transactions, particularly private M&A deals.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and manage client relationships with professionalism.
- Excellent legal drafting and technical skills.
- Demonstrate teamwork and relationship-building capabilities.
- Exhibit strong commercial awareness and acumen.
- Be proactive, ambitious, organized, and detail-oriented in work approach.
