About MS Canada and Our Mission

Role Overview
The Development Database Coordinator position is a full-time role based in Calgary, Alberta, working 35 hours per week. This role plays a critical part in supporting the quality and integrity of donor data within the CRM system, which directly supports MS Canada's fundraising efforts and donor relationship management. Applications are accepted until July 28, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and input donation transactions into the database, coordinating with the finance team to ensure precise gift acknowledgements and issuing receipts.
- Facilitate effective data usage by generating, maintaining, and distributing reports and assisting in preparing mailing lists and coordinating communications with donors.
- Support data management activities, including uploading and exporting information and maintaining the Philanthropy Team’s document repository.
- Maintain database integrity through duplicate record management, adherence to data business rules, and ensuring consistency across linked systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience managing databases, ideally within Salesforce CRM platforms; familiarity with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) is advantageous.
- Competence in importing/exporting data and generating detailed reports.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capability to manage and prioritize multiple ongoing requests efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with sound judgment and discretion.
