Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and economical preparation and completion of fresh meals, as well as distribution of prepared dishes.
  • Plan requirements, place orders, clarify matters with suppliers, and handle daily accounting.
  • Coordinate incoming goods, perform quality checks on delivered products and raw materials, assist with receiving and transporting food deliveries, ensure proper sorting, distribution, and storage, and conduct inventory tasks.
  • Adhere strictly to hygiene and safety regulations, internal Bosch guidelines, and HACCP standards at all times. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen through tidying and cleaning duties.
  • Take daily sample tests of prepared meals, label and store them appropriately.
  • Supervise assigned tasks ensuring careful execution and economical use of equipment and aids; support the kitchen in meal production.
  • Organize and oversee the duties of kitchen assistants, considering work execution, results, process improvements, and compliance with safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Completed formal training as a cook in hotels, gastronomy, or upscale catering; additional qualifications such as kitchen master or others are welcome.
  • Several years of professional experience in gastronomy and community catering; proficient with inventory management systems; solid knowledge of HACCP guidelines; familiar with Outlook email server.
  • Health and safety certification under §43 of the Infection Protection Act.
  • Personal traits: diligent and customer-oriented work style; capable of working independently with responsibility; strong communication skills.
  • Languages: fluency in German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
