About the Role
Join Parsons Corporation in Taif, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, as a Contracts Manager responsible for overseeing contract administration functions. You will provide legal and contractual advice to project teams, safeguard company and client interests, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards throughout all contract-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist with contractual correspondence involving consultants, general contractors, and vendors.
- Organize and lead meetings with various internal and external stakeholders to address disputes and contract-related legal issues.
- Plan contract activities including post-award scheduling and administration duties.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to guarantee alignment with legal frameworks and project specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, amendments, change orders, and related correspondence.
- Ensure adherence to contract terms including timelines, budget compliance, and quality benchmarks.
- Provide strategic advice at the project level concerning contract modifications, change negotiations, claims prevention, and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate change management processes by reviewing and processing change requests.
- Act as liaison among contractors, clients, and other parties to resolve contractual disputes.
- Identify potential contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project financials to ensure budget compliance with contract terms.
- Compile regular reports on contract status, progress, and issues, aiding senior management presentations.
- Validate and endorse vendor invoices.
- Supervise contract administrators and offer technical legal guidance when applicable.
- Review contractors' and consultants' work for compliance with quality standards, policies, and legal requirements.
- Propose new or revised policies and procedures as needed.
- Participate in personnel selection, training, and evaluation activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract administration or management within the construction sector.
- Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for engaging with senior client officials and project leaders.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other analytical software.
- Knowledge of standard contract forms such as FIDIC is highly desirable.
