Contract Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a Contract Specialist to join us on a contract basis, working remotely. This role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and providing exemplary templates and annotated examples for various agreement types, ensuring they are legally sound and commercially practical.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise high-quality templates and annotated samples of contracts such as Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Lease Agreements, Intellectual Property (IP) Licensing Agreements, Marketing Agreements, and Licensing Agreements.
• Ensure all documents meet up-to-date legal standards, industry norms, and reflect practical commercial use cases.
• Deliver well-structured, high-quality contractual documents contributing to an AI training dataset project.
• Maintain effective and professional communication both verbally and in writing to clarify deliverables and requirements promptly.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Currently practicing or newly qualified commercial attorney experienced in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Familiarity with standard commercial agreements including MSAs, lease contracts, IP, and marketing agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills emphasizing clarity and precision in legal language.
• Proven expertise in tailoring legal documents for practical, real-world applications.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup and reliably meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail ensuring compliance with relevant laws and best practices.
• Interest in or experience with legal operations, technology, or AI-supported platforms is advantageous.
