Role Overview
The Content Producer is responsible for creating captivating digital media that enhances SS&E's brands and engages audiences across various platforms. This position encompasses planning, filming, editing, and distributing photo and video materials while collaborating with internal teams to support organizational goals and live events. The producer oversees projects from initial ideas to final delivery, ensuring high production standards and nurturing creative storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture, edit, and produce dynamic stories across all franchise platforms.
- Tailor and optimize content according to platform-specific dynamics (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube Shorts, Reels, Broadcast) to maximize audience engagement and growth.
- Support colleagues by reviewing peer content, participating in team discussions, and alerting the Director to critical concerns.
- Help distribute finalized content to designated channel managers.
- Contribute innovative ideas during brainstorming sessions, pitch fresh concepts, and experiment with emerging trends.
- Collaborate with various internal departments, clients, fans, and external partners, while advocating for team members.
- Utilize strong independent judgment to prioritize and manage diverse tasks in a fast-paced sports environment.
- Promote operational excellence by enforcing organizational procedures, best practices, and quality standards within the Content Team.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s or equivalent technical degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced expertise with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Demonstrated ability through a professional editing portfolio.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience handling professional-grade cinema cameras such as RED and Sony FX series.
- Preferred background in producing branded content specifically for sports organizations.
- Willingness to travel as business needs dictate.
- Capacity to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands
- Frequent activity such as sitting courtside in confined spaces, standing along soccer sidelines, navigating arena stairs, and brisk walking for timely content handling during games.
- Regular finger dexterity required for computer keyboard use.
- Extended periods of sitting during content editing sessions.
- Occasional lifting and transporting of production equipment from vehicles to locations.
- Variable physical activities depending on unique seasonal video shoots.
