Consulting Analyst

Role overview

We are seeking a Consulting Analyst with 5 to 7 years of experience in IT consulting to support client programs through data-led analysis, practical recommendations, and structured problem solving. In this role, you will help clients improve technology strategy, streamline operations, and create lasting business value across a range of global engagements. The position follows a hybrid day-shift model and does not require travel.

What you will do

• Lead structured discovery discussions with client stakeholders to clarify business goals, current technology environments, and constraints, then document precise consulting requirements that inform later analysis and solution design.
• Evaluate client IT processes, applications, and data movement in depth to uncover inefficiencies, control gaps, and modernization opportunities that can be turned into measurable outcomes and clear value cases.
• Prepare consulting outputs such as current-state assessments, target operating models, roadmaps, and business cases that present complex IT findings in a concise, decision-ready format for executives.
• Use spreadsheets, presentations, and visual storytelling to test assumptions, estimate benefits and costs, and prioritize initiatives based on strategy alignment and risk appetite.
• Work closely with architects, project managers, and subject matter specialists to shape practical solution options and ensure recommendations are scalable, realistic, and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Convert business and technology insights into implementation plans that define phases, dependencies, and milestones while keeping a clear line of sight between client objectives and recommended actions.
• Assist with change adoption by creating communication materials, outlining adoption approaches, and advising client teams on embedding new tools and processes into everyday work.
• Join regular status reviews with internal and client teams to share progress, surface risks or issues early, and propose mitigation actions that keep work on time and within scope.
• Build reusable frameworks, templates, and knowledge assets from past engagements to speed up future discovery, assessment, and recommendation work while preserving quality.
• Use industry research and benchmark data to compare client capabilities with peers, identify competitive insights, and sharpen recommendations based on leading practices and regulatory expectations.
• Record key assumptions, constraints, and decision logic in engagement materials so clients have a transparent reference for audits, governance reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to internal practice growth through methods development, offering support, and mentoring colleagues on IT consulting approaches that strengthen practice maturity and client outcomes.
• Support sales and account teams by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and point-of-view documents that explain how consulting services create value from technology investments.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in IT consulting, with a strong record of delivering assessments, roadmaps, and business cases that supported successful technology transformation programs.
• Solid understanding of IT strategy, application portfolios, or technology-enabled operating models, with the ability to link technical topics to business results and performance measures.
• Comfort using analytical tools and productivity software to organize data, run scenario analysis, and build client-ready presentations with clear visuals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, including the facilitation of workshops, requirement gathering, and aligning different viewpoints into one agreed direction.
• Well-developed problem solving skills, including issue-tree thinking, hypothesis-led analysis, and risk assessment to break complex challenges into practical workstreams.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, collaborating smoothly across onsite and virtual environments while maintaining responsiveness, documentation quality, and delivery discipline.
