Compute Manager

Role Purpose

Take charge of overseeing and optimizing the organization's compute infrastructure. Guarantee the compute environments, including servers, virtualization layers, and cloud platforms, maintain excellent availability, scalability, security, and performance.

Primary Duties

• Administer enterprise compute resources spanning physical servers, virtual machines, and cloud-based systems.
• Maintain peak availability and throughput for compute-related services.
• Lead efforts to upgrade infrastructure, execute migrations, and perform capacity forecasting and planning.
• Supervise activities related to system health monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Handle infrastructure-related incidents, changes, and problem mitigation.
• Ensure infrastructure adheres strictly to security policies, governance requirements, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with external vendors and technology partners to align infrastructure capabilities.
• Champion initiatives aimed at modernizing infrastructure and adopting automation where feasible.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Between 8 and 10 years of total professional experience in IT infrastructure, including proven leadership roles.
