Overview
Bubble is looking for an organized, imaginative, and relationship-focused Community Manager to join the Consumer Engagement & Advocacy team in New York, NY. This full-time role involves a hybrid work schedule with four days in-office weekly. The role reports to the Senior Director of Consumer Engagement & Advocacy and focuses on supporting and managing a diverse community including ambassadors, campus representatives, Insiders, parents, and loyal brand followers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily engagement and moderation of Bubble's Insider and ambassador groups to ensure members feel appreciated and connected.
- Create and implement regular community programs such as weekly challenges, Q&A sessions, product education, brand news, and other interactive events.
- Host weekly discussions and monthly virtual events to build meaningful conversation and community bonds.
- Lead personalized outreach, surprise initiatives, and other engagement activities aimed at retention and increased participation.
- Continuously seek improvements and innovation opportunities to enhance community experiences and programs.
- Represent Bubble's voice and values consistently throughout all community interactions.
- Manage Bubble’s ambassador ecosystem, including segmenting groups, facilitating communications, and fostering relationships.
- Coordinate ambassador initiatives around product launches, campaigns, and significant brand moments.
- Help develop and manage the Parent Ambassador program via recruitment, focus groups, and engagement planning.
- Review and approve or deny user-generated content according to guidelines.
- Collaborate with Influencer and Social teams to identify potential brand advocates and creators for partnership opportunities.
- Handle product gifting requests and inventory management related to community programs.
- Support campus ambassador initiatives at key schools, maintaining engagement and cultural relevance on campuses.
- Plan and manage in-person community events, pop-ups, campus activations, and virtual experiences ensuring timely execution and memorable participant experiences.
- Work closely with internal teams including Influencer, Social, PR, Creative, Brand, and Commercial to integrate community efforts into broader marketing plans.
- Maintain community channels such as Insider platforms and Instagram, responding promptly and engaging with members authentically.
- Collect and analyze data on community engagement and program KPIs to guide future efforts and optimize outputs.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently with keen attention to detail and organized tracking systems.
- Occasional work during evenings and weekends may be necessary to support events and programming.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in community management, influencer marketing, experiential marketing, brand marketing, social media, or related fields, preferably within beauty, skincare, fashion, retail, or consumer products.
- Background working in dynamic or startup environments focused on community building.
- In-depth knowledge of Gen Z culture, consumer trends, and social media landscapes in beauty and related industries.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce engaging and brand-aligned content.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking among programs and adhering to deadlines.
- Ability to build genuine relationships and craft meaningful, memorable brand experiences.
- Balanced approach combining strategic vision and hands-on execution.
- A proactive self-starter attitude with problem-solving and opportunity-identification skills.
- Creative, resourceful, and solution-focused mindset when addressing challenges.
- Effective collaborator comfortable working across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to support occasional community events outside standard business hours.
- Passion for fostering communities and cultivating long-term brand advocates.
- Experience with design tools like Figma is favorable.
