Twin Fang Studio invites applications for the position of Comic Artist to join their remote team, ideally based in Indonesia. This full-time role engages a mid to senior level artist passionate about game development, visual storytelling, and art outsourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed comic panels from scripts, story beats, or outlines.
• Manage the complete visual production process, including sketching, layout design, inking, colouring, and polishing final artwork.
• Design expressive characters with clear poses and facial expressions that enhance narrative impact.
• Ensure artistic consistency in style and story continuity throughout pages and episodic content.
• Adapt artwork to meet specific client-directed styles and art directions.
• Work collaboratively with writers, narrative leaders, and art directors to maintain clarity and cohesion in storytelling.
• Prepare production-ready files with organized layers and proper naming conventions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience crafting comics, webtoons, graphic novels, or similar visual narratives.
• A strong artistic portfolio demonstrating skills in sequential storytelling, character creation, and composition.
• Proficiency in digital illustration tools such as Clip Studio Paint, Adobe Photoshop, or Procreate.
• Deep knowledge of pacing, panel arrangement, visual flow, and mood lighting techniques.
• Expertise in anatomy, gesture drawing, and stylized character design approaches.
• Effective communication and punctuality in a fully remote environment.

Additional Advantages

• Experience with motion comics or light animation is a plus.
• Competence in adapting lore or intellectual properties into engaging visual stories.
• Familiarity with manga or webtoon formats, including vertical scroll and episodic layouts.
• Previous work with art studios or international outsourcing is beneficial.
