Class 4 Driver

Overview

We invite skilled Class 4 drivers to join our team for executing diverse cargo delivery operations. Take charge of maneuvering a 24-foot lorry truck across the island and transporting containers to and from PSA. You will be responsible for the safe transit of hazardous materials and, when necessary, handle minor spill clean-up while adhering strictly to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a 24-foot lorry truck for delivery duties throughout the island.
• Transport containers between PSA and various locations securely.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations when handling and delivering dangerous goods.
• Effectively manage small spillages of hazardous cargo as per guidelines.
• Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors as needed.

Candidate Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Singapore-issued Class 4 driving license.
• Holding a HazMat Transport Driver Permit (HTDP) is advantageous.
• Maintain a clean driving record without recent infractions.
• Have at least 12 months of work experience in logistics, supply chain, or related operations.
• Demonstrate ability to work autonomously and handle responsibilities efficiently.
• Communicate proficiently in English—reading, writing, and speaking—for clear documentation and instruction comprehension.

Employment Details

• Permanent full-time roles available with basic salary plus allowances.
• Work schedule for full-time: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM; 5.5 days per week with overtime if needed.
• Part-time contract opportunities: $1,600 gross monthly remuneration (benefits prorated), working three days weekly from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM — either Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday.
• Work location: 11 Clementi Loop, Singapore.
