About IIQAF Group
IIQAF Group, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operates within the insurance industry and is currently looking to fill the role of a Claims Officer. This full-time position offers a monthly salary ranging from AED 6,000 to AED 7,000.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire insurance claims process, from initial notification through to settlement. Responsibilities include reviewing claim documents, verifying coverage, evaluating eligibility based on policy terms, coordinating with internal teams and external parties, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing excellent customer service throughout the claims lifecycle.
Key Duties
- Efficiently receiving, reviewing and processing insurance claims.
- Verifying policy coverage and supporting documentation.
- Assessing claims against underwriting guidelines and policy conditions.
- Liaising with policyholders, brokers, healthcare providers, repair firms, surveyors, and third-party vendors.
- Conducting investigations and gathering necessary information to support claim resolutions.
- Maintaining precise records within claims management systems.
- Preparing assessment reports, recommendations, and settlement papers.
- Communicating claim progress and settlement outcomes clearly to customers.
- Ensuring claims are processed promptly in line with company service standards.
- Identifying and escalating potential fraud cases for further scrutiny.
- Collaborating with underwriting, finance, legal, and customer support teams on complex issues.
- Upholding compliance with UAE insurance laws, internal policies and quality benchmarks.
- Monitoring turnaround times to contribute to operational effectiveness.
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving claim-related challenges professionally.
- Supporting audits by maintaining comprehensive claim documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in roles such as Claims Officer, Claims Handler, Claims Administrator, or Insurance Operations Executive is advantageous.
- Exposure to general, health, motor, life, property, or commercial insurance sectors preferred.
- Sound knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and settlement processes.
- Familiarity with relevant insurance regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency with insurance claims management software and customer relationship management systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Ability to handle multiple claims and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
