Civil Site Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a minimum of five years of relevant experience specializing in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for finishing works within the construction sector. The position is focused on overseeing and managing finishing activities on construction sites, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee finishing operations on-site including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, carpentry, and installation of fixtures.
• Take proactive ownership to accelerate progress while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Supervise and coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and labor to ensure timely task completion.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams through regular progress reports and review meetings.
• Utilize digital tools and modern technology for documentation, monitoring, and site management.
• Mentor and lead the site team by assigning tasks and enforcing discipline and accountability.
• Address on-site challenges quickly with practical problem-solving methods to keep the project on schedule.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least five years of pertinent experience in civil construction focusing on finishing works and PMC-related functions.
• Demonstrated capability in managing vendors, labor, and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, preferably with client interaction experience.
• Proficient with computers, including MS Office, spreadsheets, and reporting tools; familiarity with site monitoring applications such as project management apps or BIM plan markup tools is a plus.
• Self-driven, disciplined, practical, and able to command the site independently.
• Capable of teamwork and displaying leadership traits.
