Childcare Practitioner - Celbridge, County Kildare

Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated Childcare Practitioners for our facility located in Celbridge, County Kildare. Multiple full-time roles are open, welcoming candidates to work with babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Positions are to begin immediately upon completion of vetting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure, healthy, and nurturing atmosphere ensuring the well-being of children
• Cater to the comprehensive developmental needs of each child
• Facilitate age-appropriate educational activities to foster children’s growth
• Uphold a clean, organized, safe, well-equipped, and culturally respectful learning environment
• Conduct observation and documentation of children's development progress
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

Requirements

• Passionate and genuine care for children
• Possession of minimum FETAC / QQI Level 5 qualification in Childcare or its equivalent
• At least one year of hands-on experience in a childcare setting
• First Aid, Manual Handling, and Food Safety certifications considered advantages
• Strong interpersonal and communication competencies
• Drive for continuous professional development

Additional Information

Candidates must be willing to provide written references and complete Garda Vetting. Police clearance is required if residing outside Ireland for more than six consecutive months post age 18. Proof of eligibility to work within the European Union is mandatory.
