Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO), a full-time and remotely based role, is tasked with directing daily operational activities to ensure business functions align with the firm's strategic goals. Responsibilities cover operational planning, spearheading process enhancements, and leading cross-departmental initiatives to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness. Collaboration with executive leadership on business planning, financial supervision, budgeting, monitoring key performance indicators, and enforcing risk management protocols are integral. The COO also leads and mentors departmental heads, promotes a culture of responsibility and teamwork, and ensures organizational policies, systems, and resources are strategically aligned. Additional duties include reporting operational results, pinpointing optimization opportunities, and supporting growth strategy implementation.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in business planning and strategic management, with a track record of establishing and executing operational plans.
• Strong skills in operations management, encompassing process formulation, performance evaluation, and ongoing improvement methods.
• Advanced capabilities in data analysis, able to interpret complex datasets for informed decision-making.
• Thorough understanding of financial oversight and budgeting processes, including management of financial performance and resource distribution.
• Experienced leader adept at managing diverse, remotely located teams and ensuring interdepartmental collaboration.
• Exceptional communication skills suited for stakeholder engagement and the clear presentation of complex subjects.
• Background in investment, financial services, or related sectors is advantageous.
• Possession of a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline; holding an advanced qualification such as an MBA is favorable.
