Chief Operating Officer

About the Role

An ambitious, privately held hospitality group with five successful restaurant concepts and a robust corporate infrastructure is searching for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to spearhead their forthcoming expansion phase. Based in Long Island, NY, with openness to candidates in Charlotte, NC, or New Orleans, LA, this position offers a competitive base salary of up to $200,000 plus equity, alongside relocation assistance for U.S.-based applicants.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with ownership to implement the company's long-term growth plans.
• Lead the corporate leadership team encompassing operations, finance, marketing, IT, accounting, and support divisions.
• Enhance financial outcomes, profitability, and operational efficiency across multiple restaurant entities.
• Guide the expansion into new markets and manage the growth of new restaurant openings.
• Engage with private investors and ownership for strategic business planning and performance evaluation.
• Create scalable systems and procedures to bolster continued organizational growth.
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow, and overall operational results.
• Assess growth avenues with a disciplined approach to financial decisions.
• Ensure each restaurant concept maintains excellence in guest experience and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience as COO, SVP, or a comparable role.
• Proven leadership in hospitality businesses generating annual revenues exceeding $100 million.
• Strong financial insight and commercial awareness to catalyze business expansion.
• Track record of successfully scaling multi-unit restaurant or hospitality enterprises.
• Experience partnering with ownership groups, private investors, or private equity-backed organizations is highly advantageous.
• Strategic mindset capable of harmonizing overarching planning with day-to-day operations.
• A growth-oriented leader skilled at team-building and nurturing leadership talent.
• Expertise in managing multi-concept restaurant operations.
