Position Summary

Become a valued member of Walmart Canada as a Cashier, where you'll enhance your retail skills and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the checkout experience to foster customer loyalty. This role places great importance on preventing loss and safeguarding company assets through careful attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet every customer with courtesy and friendliness.
• Efficiently and accurately handle all purchase transactions, including merchandise deactivation in line with the EAS Program.
• Actively promote company-sponsored initiatives such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns.
• Assist customers in bagging and loading their purchases to ensure convenience and satisfaction.
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols, including correct lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the cash register by following company cash-handling procedures and staying alert to surroundings.
• Refer complex service or transaction matters to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.85.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
