Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and courteously.
• Efficiently handle purchase transactions including merchandise deactivation following the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) procedures.
• Encourage participation in company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable activities.
• Support customers with packaging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining cleanliness in the working environment.
• Ensure register security by managing cash carefully, complying with company policies, and staying alert to surroundings.
• Direct any relevant service or transaction issues to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.40.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
