About the Role

Join Bob Thomas Ford Lincoln North as a full-time Cashier in Fort Wayne, IN and step into the retail automotive industry for a promising career.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, plus every third Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers at the cashier window, respond to inquiries, and clarify dealership procedures and policies.
• Calculate and document total transaction amounts accurately.
• Handle cash counting and reconcile the cash drawer meticulously.
• Use calculators, cash registers, and computer systems to tabulate parts or service bills.
• Provide customers with receipts, refunds, credits, or change as appropriate.
• Maintain various records and reports related to non-monetary information.
• Manage service repair orders including opening and closing them.
• Perform filing and various clerical tasks to support operations.

Compensation

Hourly pay with performance review after 90 days.
